1000 Lives Improvement announces formal launch of all-Wales improvement service for health and social care


1000 Lives Improvement is launching a new all-Wales improvement service for health and social care at the Improvement Cymru National Conference on 25th and 26th November this year. Anyone working in social care is invited to attend the conference and submit abstracts for their ideas regarding improvement work.
The organisers are looking for abstract suggestions and ideas on improvement work from across Wales and further afield for 12 varied improvement breakout sessions, on the following themes:
  • User centred design
  • Learning from failure
  • Systems thinking
  • Collective leadership for improvement
  • Joy in work
  • Improvement leadership behaviours
  • Quality management system
  • Measuring improvement
  • Fostering and managing improvement
  • Understanding and changing behaviours
  • Communicating improvement
  • Sustaining improvements in an organisation
If applicants have a live project, case study or research that they would like to share they can complete an abstract application form and submit. The closing date for applications is 17:00 Friday 20th September 2019.
