Adult renal services in Wales are planned and provided by the Welsh Renal Clinical Network. Five hospitals act as hubs for renal services that provide care for the estimated 10,000 people with kidney disease in Wales, and the many more at risk. The clinical teams in each hospital are integral to WKRU, putting implementing research findings at the heart of service delivery, with a shared agenda of research directed at improving the care of Welsh people with kidney disease.
