2017 Tenovus Cancer Care iGrants are now open for applications
Deadline: Thu 1st Jun 2017
Tenovus Cancer Care is committed to funding research that directly helps people affected by cancer in communities across all of Wales. Through our iGrant funding stream, we will fund research projects that aim to highlight or meet the needs of cancer patients and their families in Wales, including cancer prevention. In 2016 we funded six projects at a cost of £157,000.
We’ve renamed our innovation grants to iGrants to reflect the breadth of projects we’ve supported in the past, and the types of proposals we’d like to receive in the future. Although innovation is vitally important, the iGrant funding stream has a broader remit than innovation alone. We’d also like to support projects that:
- Implement great ideas
- Involve patients and members of the public
- Influence policy and practice
- Invest in the future.
All projects that we support should demonstrate an impact on cancer patients and their families, or have the potential to do so in the future.
The Tenovus Cancer Care iGrants are open to everyone, including individuals, patient groups, academic institutions, health professionals and voluntary organisations, based in Wales.
We welcome applications for projects of all sizes from £1,000 up to a maximum of £30,000 but they must complete within 12 months of receiving funding.
